Good questions to ask

What does "start for $500" mean?
The $500 kickoff pays for me to learn your workflow and write a proposal with a fixed price and a clickable prototype. If you go ahead, the full $500 is credited to your build. If I can't find anything worth building, I refund it. If you decide not to go ahead, you keep the proposal and prototype.
Who owns the software and the data?
Your data and accounts are always yours: your domain, your logins, your records. The code becomes fully yours once the build is paid off, and you can buy out the remaining balance at any time. No lock-in.
What if I want to cancel early?
You pay only what's left on the build balance (I'll always show you the exact number), and care stops at the end of that month. If you paid the build at launch, there's nothing left to owe beyond the current month.
How does billing work?
Monthly autopay by bank transfer (ACH) or card, with an itemized invoice every month. Prices are plus Hawai‘i GET. Larger custom projects are billed by milestone.
What counts as a "small change"?
Things like adding a field, changing a report, updating prices or wording, or adding a user. New features are quoted up front, or covered by the hours in Care Plus and Pro.
Do you use AI? Will my data be sent somewhere?
I use modern AI tools to build faster, which is why the prices are what they are. If your tool uses AI features (like reading receipts), it runs on your own account and keys, so you see the usage and your data stays under your control.
Can we meet in person? I'm busy during the day.
Yes. I'm in Honolulu and happy to come by. Evenings and weekends are often easiest for both of us, and most of the work can also happen over screen-share.
What if I'm not very techy?
That's who these tools are for. If you can use a phone, you can use what I build. I'll set your team up in person and stay the person you call.
